    Ecm brings snow Monday night into tuesday.

    It’s changing run to run. I still think Monday night into tuesday looks our best bet for some snow. These low’s especially coming up from the sw can end up anywhere. Hopefully smack bang over Glasgow. And fife of course lol.

    The UKMO looks good for Scotland starting Monday night especially. Central belt could get a dumping to.

    The gfs reminds me a bit like the boxer wilder. Swings are off the scale! Just hope it doesn’t land.. Looks completely different again. Hopefully it falls in line tomorrow or the next day or the next… Or the next.

    This small low keeps appearing on tuesday morning. Headed straight for the central belt. Probably miss us head to France or something. Fun to watch tho lol.

    It’s went from a huge dumping down south to dreadful/ awful charts lol. They never learn. Hopefully us scots come up with the goods next week at least.

    It has been showing around the 17th for snow up here on a few previous runs.

    A small band of precipitation is gathering out east. Scotland will probably end up with more snow today than down south, watch this space lol.

    I enjoy your posts. I’m still trying to learn as I go lol. I have been listening to another experienced person talking about it turning milder from the 20th. This is because of the mjo going back into phases 5/6? Is that right? Then turning colder again around start of February? Thanks.

    The met have already put out a warning for south east. Plus a amber cold alert warning. Give me a break lol. We had all that snow last week. Not as much as a heads up.

    I think it’s great we are now into this potential cold snap/ spell. I think some people are not seeing the woods for the trees. The cold air has arrived! . Ok no snow yet, hopefully it follows. ️️

    Good to see everyone in a good mood. What a turn around long may it continue. Even Judah cohen has spoke about a beast from the east event taking place in his latest blog . That’s for another day. Great day for model watching.

    Seems to be each run getting better and better. We do really well from a straight easterly. Still a lot to be resolved but it’s getting exciting! You can precip already arriving as early as the 7th. Come on!!!

    The ecm 18z only goes out to 90hrs but looks like it’s pushing north a tad quicker.

    MO pointing out 14th 15th for something much colder. Has been for weeks. Don’t get the panic around the 7th?? Shows high pressure developing as stated by mo.

    Bang on what the MO have been saying. Cold frosty to start with then possibly something much colder. Deemed low at this point tho.
