    All very frustrating think everybody hyped it up to much from all those runs just feel very deflated now, just as a kid 8pm on Christmas day knowing it had all ended, just rain here looking at everything

    528 air over us in the SE BBC showing temps 7c remember years ago 528 air indicated the Snow line and temps just above freezing, has this changed?

    BBC said the main snow event has cleared and mainly rain showers now, never saw any of that here apart from rain and a gale

    Just seen on the news a presenter say the weather presenters get excited when there is extreme weather what extreme with snow in December, many years ago it was a common occurance and having feet of snow seemed to happen quite often

    We are stuck in the warm sector the reason SW is above 10c at present

    I assume must be high ground or local weather conditions?

    All the action seems North of Peterborough at present by the looks of the Radar

    Not sure when the undercutting cold will be coming in

    BBC was saying temps in the SW are hitting a barmy 10c and the temps are rising further East as the rainband moves East

    Bit over the top? sounds like the Daily Express and the Mail?

    Dry here in Essex now rained earlier had thunder at 4.30 this morning dont like whats lurking in the North Sea moving West

    Had a big storm here most seem to be heading over London area Still lots of Thunder in the background Came over from Colchester way heading into London

    Looks like a diving board there as well?
  25. BLUNT
    We had heavy rain and storms from 3pm watching all afternoon the bad area was Stock here only 3 miles down the road could see it was bad it was developing when we were driving back from Brentwood didn't realise how it developed so quickly to the East of us by only a few miles.
