  1. Hi guys. Been out the loop recently. Anyone know how the north west is expected to fare with this event? I have a friend that is supposed to collect a couch tomorrow evening and she's concerned with how the wind might affect her van due to it being higher than a car if you get my meaning. Much appreciated
  2. The idiotic layout and design of my home makes it impossible to vent a proper hosed AC unit. I suspect a lot of people are in the same boat. Something is going to have to give. If this is the future, homes need to be designed for heat and flooding rather than cold
  3. Never want to see the the sun outside of the winter months when its weaker than a McDonald's coffee then
  4. The leftover heat from each day is just making things worse too. Not a hint of a breeze either like you said. Just stagnant warm air
  5. If I did that, my sweat could probably fill one
  6. Option 2 definitely. Can't wait for it to end and nope I never see the sun again. I'm tired of waking up lethargic and unrested. I'm tired of my clothes sticking to me. Everything is just so much harder when the weather is filthy like this
  7. The day on day residual heat build up in my house is bordering on suffocating. Hope to god I never see the sun again
  8. I think it hit 22c or so during the 40c event last year
  9. Keep it up mate, you're sense of humour is refreshing in our darkest hour
  10. Maybe they got bored of the mad thread and went for a wander It definitely seems to be an IMBY situation. Many places in the same region have gotten away with the highest temp values compared to what I've experienced here. Never do well out of an easterly where I live
