    Bad to worse You aren't alone. I've felt sick and achy since last Saturday. Barely slept, hayfever fired up. Nothing good comes from this muck. Nothing.

    Yeah that's what I try and do. I find my bedroom augments outside conditions. Freezing in winter and boiling in summer

    The temps in the south east were much lower last night than they were in the NW. 10c I believe vs the 18c we had.

    The cooler the better. I'm not too selfish though. A return to low 20s by day with cool evenings and nights would suit me. Tired of body feeling like a lead weight. House has been like an oven since Saturday

    Metoffice spend so much time sat on the fence, they should have splinters in their backsides Theyre provided by meteogroup now if I recall? The ITV ones provided by the meto aren't much better

    I remember that well. The gfs and gem began modelling unsettled weather whilst the ecm and ukmo were the opposite. Eventually the ecm was dragged kicking and screaming.

    Apologies as I haven't got round to adding it yet. I live in skelmersdale so, our little nuck is the hotspot for easterlies. We don't cool as much as the rest of the county at night either.

    One of life's great mysteries. I always remember the TWO sites founder Brian Gaze saying he can sleep fine in 40 degrees. We're all the same, yet so very different.

    Anything above 24c makes me feel ill. I've had migraines since the heat started on Saturday and my body feels like a lead weight. You don't know how lucky you are. North west england. Skelmersdale.
