Great weekend, saw my team lift a trophy in the sunshine. Yesterday was great aswell, ended up with friends and the kids at the pub with a band on outside. This is what it's supposed to be like this time of year, everyone in a much better mood.

Looked at the forecast for the weekend this morning, 20 degrees for Saturday, look 2 hours later and it's now 11 degrees and rain. You have to laugh or you will bawl. -

TwisterGirl81 I have mates who live in Spain and the canaries and they've all said said the weather has been chilly and wet for a few weeks now. So we're not alone with this crap weather for a change.

TonyH my dad lives in Wales he said it's been decent, here in the east it's constant grey cloud and drizzle with a horrible northerly breeze, really grim. raz.org.rain how many times have we seen this though and it fizzle out. Given up hope to be honest just can't see it

Just about given up with the weather now, same old same old. Starts quite bright and pleasantish, then 10am the cloud rolls in. Rinse and repeat, day after day after bloody day. Absolutely sick to the back teeth of it. No one smiles anymore, everyone just completely fed up in this dire miserable little island.

richie3846 shows just how dreadful these last 18 months have been for people to say that 7 degrees and drizzle can be considered as 'not too bad'. It's late April for crying out loud, it's completely dismal and depressing.

As per usual the sun starts to set and the clouds disperse. I don't like to sound like a conspiracy nutjob but this seems engineered somehow, it happens every bloody day.

No sign of anything above 15 degrees heading into May, utterly pathetic. I hate this country, look at the continent and they are getting mid 20's now and this depressing little island is still struggling to put anything remotely mild on the table.

So yesterday the sun was shining for a change but was blowing a gale to stop anyone really enjoying it,.and today should bring the first 20 degrees of the year but we're covered in grey Atlantic muck. This country really is the pits.

Cold and wet yet again. I've said to the Mrs (and she's agreed) that if this summer is wet and chilly then we are selling the business and moving to Spain or the canaries. It's not good for my mental health this.

In Absence of True Seasons mate of mine lives in Lanzarote, just sent me a video of it battering down with rain and wind there, he says it's been crap for weeks. Seems like there is widespread crap weather all over at the minute.

Absolutely sick to death of this depressing, boring cold windy wet lemone weather this hole of a country has. Mrs insisted we get the garden done up. Why?! Literally get two weeks a year to actually use the I am jumping up and down thing.
