  3. tbh i think pluto should be classed as a planet for its asthetic properties but scienfically it is not a planet, just a case of luck really
  4. John Cox's photo does it for me, perfect colour rendition and contrast between the colours of the sky , grass, sea and sand, you can almost imagine yourself there, well done mate! . If i could have a second vote it would be louby's cracking capture of lightning .

  7. Thunderstorm here at 05:55am lasted untill 06:45am moved off NE quiote fast clear skies behind. Saw 2 very close CG's and 1 CC , but that was all, lots of deep rumbling thunder though.

  13. Maybe different environment, but when a house not far from me got hit, it sounded just like a bomb explosion. Probably due to building shapes etc.
  14. Ah, ok cheers for that. You would have thought it would be a really long sort of bomb type sound like when lightning is about 50 metres or so wouldnt you, very interesting stuff though :lol:

  18. oh the memories I think this summer will be alot later in getting going comared with last summer, however it looks to start next week getting warmer from wednesday onwards.
