Yes bit of a mixed bag. if you can make out the image precip 'type' turned on for my last radar.

Yes 252, they have pepped up a bit on last few frames since i posted. Bearing into the stoke area on a 45° angle, that would be good enough for a dusting down here, if it dont fizzle, saying that the ppn has gone through snowdonia with no problems!

Just need a little tweak on steering winds, as ppn coming in off the irish sea would settle in to Chesh Gap, so close, yet so far!

Hello. I drove back home tonight from Wednesfield, on the lanes exposed there was a bit of sleet on the windscreen around 4:25pm Car temp showing 2.5°C
As for tomorrow i got a tough one ahead, my Dad's funeral. For a weather fan of all sorts i just hope at midday till 1pm will be, well you know..
Models are all over the place for the region as you know, best thing is the now casting! Love it & the reports from the all of you here.

Evening all.
Firstly i apologise for my stupid postings lastnight, totally not needed, sorry.
Im on a knife edge situation and today is no better. But thats another story.
Still some snow on the ground when i visited my Dad at Compton Hospice (Wolverhampton) today at 2pm, car temp gauge all the way there stayed at 2c / 2.5c At 6pm when i left down to 0.5c.
Now home, i will put the kestrel 4000 outside on tripod 1.5mtrs high and get back with some more accurate readings.

Nw flow will continue, into a north tomorrow if you have nw ex you will see the PPN swinging. Currently its NNW if a the Cheshire gap holds up for a time then snow will see the midlands through the next 8 hours or so. please correct me if im wrong. Then Bright sunshine through Saturday, cold winds there after

Certainly no freezing rain anywhere tonight surface temps need to be -0.0c or below.
4 to 6c currently.
1.5c here and clear.

Well it sounded like hail but it was not, rain very cold i went out back to experience it, yes it was cold or freezing rain. -4 uppers over us now, -6 inbound. I beg to be wrong but hey you know how things go.
