  1. Beautiful frost yesterday morning across the region, temp dropped to -5c and left a nice icy covering.
  2. Well here we had a decent snow shower yesterday lunchtime, not really settling but it fell for almost a half hour of wet snow. Make sure you get this in the snow league!
  3. Sleety stuff falling lightly now, nothing exciting but its on/off stuff that was rain but now is more sleety.
  4. Today was beautifully crisp and sunny, and in the shaded hillsides hills are virtually still covered in snow, up to a few inches deep after saturday's fall, snow patches remain in shade and may well do tonight too.
  5. Up on the hill near me house there was like 4 inches no joke, a real dumping of snow up there! btw for snow reports that counts in the snow leauge cos its still here in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.

It was a beautiful sunny day and although the snow was gone in town by midday, up on the hill there was a real dumping, while the black mountains visible in the distance looked amazing under snow!
  9. Yesterday night there was a long spell of snow falling around 7-10pmish, it was lovely but in between got a bit sleety so only left a half cm covering on the ground, but it did freeze overnight, patches of snow remain in shade today.
  10. At about 12pmish today there was a sleety/snow shower that fell for a while, absolutely no chance of anything settling but it did happen!
  11. OK in the middle of the night on Saturday there was a heavy fall of hail, nothing big but it fell and counts as being on Sunday as it was early sunday morning.
  12. Just had a little sleety shower, not much at 5c, but it seemed a bit sleety to me.
  13. Thick white frost, lots of ice. Currently -3c.
  14. Last night was a thick frost with snow lying, tonight frost forming nicely again. Min expected of -4c tonight, last night it was -2c.
  15. Here in Ross-on-wye, south Herefordshire, its just been snowing again. About an hour of snow fell, and there is now a lovely covering of about 2cm all over all surfaces round here, so now I can definitely say I've seen a white christmas with snow lying!
  16. Frosty this morning with icy patches and frost covering the grass and cars. Minimum around 0c last night, and already getting frosty here tonight at 1c.
  17. Well I went for a walk up a hill at around 200m asl today, and up there on the fields there was still a good covering of 1-2cm around, and the fields across the hills of the Forest of Dean to the south looked nice and white. So that snow this morning did give better stuff at higher levels, it even stuck around for about an hour down in Ross at low levels.
  18. It just snowed proper here in Ross, Herefordshire! For about half an hour around midday it was snowing, settled about 1cm light covering on grass and verges. Stopped now but it certainly was festive, now I've seen a white christmas!
  19. Sleet here at half 12, steadily getting more to snow now.
  20. Dreary and mild here, with cloudy skies and bits and bobs of rain falling. temp 9.5c, maxed at 11c here today.
  21. Well seeing as I couldn't start a new topic for today, thought I'd let you know that this morning it was sleeting for about an hour also, at about 4/5c and it was around 11am too. Not much but its a start!
  22. beautiful frost today, grass and cars look lovely and white this morning, feeling very festive already when its only November!
