Well storm 2 is still going on, brilliant! not seen anything like this in the 7 years I've been here. Sky & Freeview still off!!!

Well thats a first.. Power went off for a few seconds and now the Sky signal has gone kaput

2 storms here as well so far 1st at approx 2.30pm Plenty of thunder, IC lightning. Torrential rain. Lasted approx 30 mins 2nd been going off for half hour or so. Constant deep rumbles of thunder, a few CG & IC strikes seen. Still carrying on as I type - still feeling rather humid and skies to my south are black.

That was a nice little storm earlier - rainfall was stupendous! Hoping for some more as there seems to be alot of dark clouds heading this way.

Seems to be a funny thing about the Northwest of England. When t/storms are forecast nothing happens. When nothing is generally forecast we seem to get something unexpectedly. Has happened the last 2 or 3 storms but I'm not complaining!

Same here Tim, no precip (unless it happened before I woke!) but a few nice flashes of lightning & some thunder. Reminds me of that night last year when something similar happened unexpectedly :lol:
