  12. nicely captured Ice halo cookie.....one question though, what shooting mode did you use?....the reason I ask is that to my untrained eye, having no foreground lighting just detracts slighty from the pic
  13. Thanks for posting them cookie, some fine shots there...I especially like piccy 5 showing sun light glinting off the mountain peak, and piccy 7 showing a nice contrast between the shoreline and the snow-capped peaks in the background

  16. Cheers Paul...looks like I've been doing it the hard way!.....using a 3rd party host and linking BBcode.....much quicker your way!
  17. Lovely pics Wibs....Looks like they could be taken in the alps! Beautiful snowscape .They certainly deserve their own thread as I for one would like to see more of them
  18. A real day of contrasts here in Penkridge....Miserable, wet and cold this morning, then as the front passed through the temp shot up to 13.5C in no time allowing for some marvelous rapid convection..I've captured some maturing Cumulus Congestus and Cumulo-nimbus in these pics. They dropped a huge deluge of rain/sleet with the temp dropping to just 6C within the shower
