    Yeah, strange aint it! Copied my nan when I was 2, she put her fingers in her ears during a storm in '76 so I've been told. Now just listen to music on headphones instead.

    It passed just south of Broseley Gord... had a load of heavy rain, it only let off a few sferics once it got a few miles the other side. A very near miss at the most.

    Number of strikes just over the Welsh border where the rain is fairly light, but nothing to the East?

    Looks like the cell I mentioned earlier has weakened and looks to be heading further west, so might be a close one instead.

    First strike on the Shropshire/Wales border by the looks, maybe even closer.

    Couple of showers to the East of Hereford and South of Birmingham at the mo. Will these fire up into storms as they track North?

    The cell that passed through here not so long ago has produced some strikes umpteen miles later. Looks to be about Kidderminster way. Typical!!

    A good looking sky to the N/NW can see the cell to the SW of Manchester. Nice little anvil on it.

    Can see a couple of towers East of here, other side of Wolves at a guess.

    That cell to the west of Brum looks like its heading this way triple _x1

    Anyone in the Shrewsbury area should look to their N/NE little cell heading your way.
