    Cell to my SW, some rotation too. 2 flashes seen so far.

    Whats with all the constant moaning? You simply cannot expect to get a storm each time they are forecast. Storms are very unpredictable as I'm sure you are aware. I wish we had storms here too but I dont harp on each time we dont get one.... sorry but had to be said.

    Plenty of cells developing around here already! Watching 2 that have developed very quickly to the North and NW of here and moving in a Northerly direction. Slate grey skies to my West. Wonder if I'll spot another funnel today?

    Think I saw a funnel that was right on the horizon to the north of Telford. There is a cell must be getting on for 20 miles away and to the SW of Stoke. Lots of scudd and a wall cloud too. By the time I got my camera it had roped out. Looked almost like a vertical column.

    Heard a few faint rumbles from the cell out towards Wolverhampton way. Skies clearing here and the sun is out, humidity rising fast.

    That was the biggest hail id ever seen, one piece on the lawn next door looked bigger than that, but seemed to be kind of oblong in shape instead of round. Very intense rain for a few mins too. Not much in the way of thunder though.

    Well, narrowly missed the early storm this morning, had a few flashes, one hitting in my cousins front garden in Broseley according to him. A smaller storm just to my SW heading more directly this time, loads of scud in all directions. Just heard a rumble I think.

    July 2008... a good evening storm, 1995... best storm of my life... numerous storms between, so not as if we dont get them.

    Got my eye on a lttle something from the West, doesnt look much but between here and there it could fire up a bit.

    We got the Olympic torch coming through Broseley at 2.58, and gathering dark clouds to the South... Will it stay dry? hmmm dunno.

    Just had a few spots of rain here, large-ish drops too. What looks like a finger of rain to my south on the radar, Bridgnorth maybe, heading between Telford and Wolves at a guess.

    A tower to the NE of Telford way in the distance and looks like one Birmingham way too. Looks like the one I can see to my NE

    Brilliant, cells head this way from North Wales intensify only to die down right over us only to intensify once they leave Shropshire border... cracking... or not as is the case!

    Very dark North and NW of here... we got incoming!!!!

    Only had a bit of light rain and some hail here Kain... look North of Telford for the storms... Need to move 20 odd miles North methinks...
