We have had some heavy snow falls here in oxford this afternoon. Started around 11am been on and off since then. Not setteling but good fun either way. I find it interesting that neither the bbc or netweather has mentioned it.

I can confirm, even tho its snowing very lightly at the moment it is actually trying to settle.

It started to snow lightly around 7:00am here in oxford. Fingures crossed it looks like the band of snow could come closer than orginaly thought if it carrys on this trend.

Not seen any snow what I call "REALL" snow for a few years none of this oOo I got 1cm of snow dusting lark:( And as for this recent event nothing absolutly nothing and absolutly gutted too. *sniff*

Wow long time since I have posted anything worthy in here :-) Anyway It has been an incredable hot day tempreture registering about 30oC It is now roughly about 20oC . Had a few resonable storms but nothing that what I call Big. Tryed to film it earlyer but not great footage. Heres hoping for some more "big summer storms".

Todays weather very very very heavy rain, almost like a monsoon! All roads and streets are flooded badly - couldnt record the storm last night, as i thought it wouldnt last and whent to sleep but, from word of mouth it did light up the whole of oxfordshire for a while first big proper storm in a while.
Still raining heavy 13:57pm.

Big thunderstorm just about to start here going to get the video camera out .... quite a few flashes have started allready and rumble of thunder! Im smiling allready! :o

This is so not fair, very humid here air is still - cloudy. Wanting, waiting for a storm. We really, do need something to clear this horrible humid air!!

Can anyone give a good weather report for Didcot, Oxfordshire? Will there be any storms likely ? It looked pretty overcast this afternoon felt one spot of rain and that was it. Very humid here tho.. any report would be great.

Very pretty storm in Didcot Oxfordshire at the moment, constent lightning bit of rain but has stoped - Constent lightning continues - very humid atm. I only wish i had a camera to show

Absolutly sweet fa in oxfordshire atm, allthough it is very very warm and humid atm. So hoping for a storm

I must be in the worst spot for thunderstorms
We have had absolutly nothing here apart from very hot muggy weather all day. Very slight breeze now but still muggy 9:25pm Didcot Oxfordshire. It is however not fair we need a good storm to clear the air!!! -

As allways didcot gets nothing apart from one little clap of thunder but was miles away. It is how ever very very humid 27.5oC at 9pm. It did look quite promising earlyer on but faded away

Some very dark clouds down Didcot, oxfordshire im not 100% sure that this could turn into a thunderstorm allthough it has every sign that it might be a heavy shower on our way. No thunder or lightning as of yet.

Ok correction Thunder just started (sods law).
If it gets bad may have to turn of computer for a while. -

Very black clouds no sighn of thunder or lightning "yet". Very heavy rain just started and now stoped. This storm may develop into something big just have to wait and see.

It took me by supprise. I can tell you its still trying to snow at the moment but only very lightly.
12:45PM Moderate Snow Fall
14:15pm Very light snow
Weather conditions: Dark Clouds and rain now mixed with sleet or snow.
Will keep this updated if it continues.
