Was your signature picture taken in the UK?
And yeah, what weather09 said, want to see the pictures. Have some video of the storm I had but it is not very interesting, just a grey sky and then a loud rumble of thunder every minute or two for about 30-45 minutes.
Ill upload it to to youtube shortly its not very interesting. As for my sig, wishfull thinking;)

I manged to get one sheet lightning video footage up the ridgeway tonight , but thats it i gave up looked like it was dying out:(

We just had a thunderstorm and one heack of crack of thunder, no I did not have my video camera becuase im at work. But, going by the isle of wight lightning map, the fun is not over yet. Im hoping for a big one. It kind of looks like there all creeping towards my area slowly. But then i might be wrong who knows.

Ignore them they're useless. I've had 27C and 29c shown and we've had nothing anywhere near that.
I know , but boy it was hot ! Im so hoping for a thunderstorm. It feels so close tonight.

My car registerd 27oC in the sun, but i think it was about 22oc it was really hot. And I have burnt arms to proove it!

There were some really great forming storm clouds this day , but unfortantly there was nothing to trigger them off.

Had my second rumble of thunder this afternoon around about, 3-4pm ish. One clap, of thunder and boy did it rain hard for half an hour. All of it seems to have died away now:(

No thunderstorms what so ever here ,(gutted) 26oc all afternoon

Ive seen 3 flashes of lightning early this year. no thunder. I am dying to have a big electricle storm like the one we had last year that was not forcasted.
That storm was amazing green lightning was seen and the thunder just kept on rumbling it was a mini supercell and a half biggest one, ive chased in a while.

I just been outside checked temp. Currently at 20oC little breeze very cloudy still (of what i can see). But no sign of a thunderstorm. I did however, smell a bit of rain the distances so who knows.

There is a moderate risk of severe weather today.
Snow will spread southwards from Scotland into parts of northern, central and eastern England today, probably reaching the southeast, including London and the Home Counties this evening. Some 2 to 5 cm of snow is possible across many parts with perhaps as much as 8 cm on higher ground of the north.

I wish there was a sticky FAQ For us beginners to understand what you mean by PPN and dew points. How do we find these on the map where is the map you guys are looking at. I know netweather has the pay for extra details section but it would be nice if someone on netweather could create a sticky faq for us.

Could we please have the forum back to flat thread rather than listed? Am I seriously not the only one that finds the new layout annoying?
