  1. Indeed it does - it has intensified the pulse of rain/storms tomorrow night (could even be an MCS looking at the precip chart), but has pushed it West. Friday CAPE/LI still too far East on Friday...not looking great for us here IMO...but seeing how much the forecast has changed in the last 12 hours, I expect it to read different again tomorrow morning and during the course of the day.

Haha sorry for once i can say bad luck to you guys in kent! :):) Even if i dont get anything;)

  2. GFS 18Z run updating now - look at how it upped the CAPE across the Midlands for 1800 this evening? :)

Oh I am not irritated as it's left us out, I just think to myself, if you have any sort of understanding of the weather, even on the most basic level, you'd think wtf? and adjust it accordingly.

Oh well never mind, as Weather09 points out, it might a storm shield caused by an UHI :) (even more reason why I cannot fathom out the London gap lol)

    *edit*

Actually i diddnt notice that but we havent had anything this evening just so damn hot.

  3. I had an inkling I thought I herd a long distance rumble of thunder this afternoon around, 3ish, but Im not quite sure(could of been a plane). Otherwise, I had plenty of heavy rain, nothing eles. However, I did have a nice clear spot, just enough time to take my daughter out to the park before the rain came in again. Alas, still no thunderstorms.

  4. I miss the days, when we used to get long hot summers and strong thundery break downs - those are my childhood memorys now. Most of the storms we have been getting lately are not what I call, proper classic thunderstorms. Just showers imho.
