Just had lots of smaller dark clouds merge into a bigger one over crawley and chuck down some rain, now moved to the east of us.

Seems to be something bubbling up to the north of me, radar showing something near redhill, can see top of something which has bubbled up in about same time as appeared on radar, just over the roof opposide, bearing in mind that houses behind are uphill, so looking up and iover, cloud top looks quite tall.

Getting some dark cloud bases bubble up here in crawley, seems to be getting more humid too got 3 fans racing in here, doesnt help with all the computer equipment, audio mixing eqipment and server pumping out heat lol.

Afrer looking at radar and being under the darker areas and seeing nothing, been looking out of windows and not seeing anything near the lamp posts.... it is now finally snowing light>moderate when i just looked

Looks like almost 1cm been dumped already in places here in the hour, took an affort to reverse into parking space. just goes to show whats wrong with our country if a car can't cope with 1cm snow.
Yeah, sadly i had to reverse up a kerb and steep ramp, kept slipping...... as road was already icy before snow fell.

Just left work in Tunbridge Wells at 6:30 for drive home to Crawley, looked at radar before left work and thought I will hit that head on at East Grinstead judging by speed moving east.
Hit East Grinstead at about 30 mins later and still nothing falling out of the sky, Then spot on hit town centre and hit the wall of falling snow all of a sudden.
The road (A264) between east grinstead and Crawley at copthorne was already covered with snow when I got there, and the A23 dual carrageway from M23 into Crawley one lane was totally covered.
The back road near my street was sliding all over.
Looks like almost 1cm been dumped already in places here in the hour, took an affort to reverse into parking space.

Light to Medium snow here in Crawley, some big flakes... and as i write this just got heavier.
So far it is not settling, think the ground is far too wet already

Ok Uploaded a timelaspse video from earlier today.
Came out much better than I hoped for.
You see blue scky followed by the clounds rolling in, then low cloud beign sucked towards the storm. later you see the clounds veer towards the 2nd storm then slowly switch back towards south east as the storm passes to south.
The time lapse managed to get a couple of flashes of lightning too.

1st of 2 videos shot at 720p. Shortly after starts shotgun lightning, tho doesn't sound same on camera.

Seems like the end of the conveyer of storms for me, getting brighter and birds out again with a nice cooling breeze in at last.

Starting to hear thunder again, last storm faded out but liuder rumbles again... can i get a part 2.
Uploading HD footage now. Shame didnt use old camera as cought better strikes, new one seem to miss them

Simply WOW... craking light show to my east now, been some absolutely massive bangs and crashes. One sounded like a gunshot, which the thunder i caught on film.
Will start uploading now. Seems to be moving away to east now

1st lightning seen and loud thunder to south of me. pretty much rumbling every second or two. Dogs barking and best yet i getting this on time lapse for later.
Started recording about 11 after recorded time lapse of my tree getting cut down. Will upload later.

Very regular distant thunder to south west/west atm, every few seconds. No lightning yet.
Getting deeper and louder.

Weird suddenly got a lot brighter here, was very dark to north about 15 mins ago, and suddenly saw it get bright again. can still hear the rumbling to west.

3 deep distant rumbles in about a minute....... seems to be coming from SW

Anything possibly to come from the rain thats fired up just north of I.O.W on Raintoday.... some small intense spots developed on the 23:30 radar..
HD Camera charged and ready.... tho since i bought the damn thing not seen anything here lol.

Just took this out of window, can see some towering clouds off to South East fairly hard to see in this photo

yeah I just saw one large flash! more connective activity in the channel as well.
I am guessing same one I saw too from a distance ..... was really bright and filled the whole south east of sky from my viewpoint! Thats all I saw didnt see another flash after

Lightning To South east bright flash and thunder started raining thunder about 30 secs later
