I would love to think we have a good dumping here but early in the snowier years of the late 70's and early 80's I remember frequent outcomes where the snow slid into France at the last minute or quickly turned to rain when not forecast to. In December 1981 a hooley of a blizzard started one sunday evening and the local forecast said it would go on on all night giving at least a foot of snow, 4 hours later it had turned to rain. I'm not being pessimistic just that its on such a knife edge that until the front arrives we dont know where will get the most snow, who will get rain, how far north it will go etc. Heres hoping that Hampshire gets a nice big dollop though
