    morning guys and gals just been out and i have measured 6 inches of snow on top of the car, and 8 inches on the ground, Another morning where i have to get a taxi to work , cannot get the car out of the drive again 2 nd day running, Temperature down to -3.94c at the moment did drop to -4.0c Another day at the office pushing cars out of the car parks looms , Grrrr, yesterday was a nightmare cars stuck , roads closed, Grrrrrr

    Currently -0.50c here in the North East with the Dew point currently reading -2.71c [this did drop to -4.58c at 02.37c this morning, Temeperature dropped to -2.83c at 0241hrs

    Just been outside to clear the front path , OMG 4 to 5 inches snow has accumulated since Friday What has mad things worse, is the thick ice which is underneath all this fresh snow Alot more snow on the way for this week and a chance for Thunder snow on Thursday off to work in the morning, Friday it took me an hour to get from North Kenton to Windy Nook in Gateshead, i nearly abandoned my car half way up Sheriff Hill, hope tomorrow morning isnt the same

    Not sure how true this is but my Mrs is currently in Asda {shopping} and the supervisor has just said to a few people that the council have stopped gritting , due to running out of salt, Asda at the moment are havingn to get all their salt eetc from there stock room and salt the main road leading inther car park as cars are having trouble getting in , because of skidding all over the place, If its true how can the council run out of salt , they were for warned about this current freeze

    Morning Pete, Yep im enjoying it, but not driving in it, did that yueaterday , took me an hour to get to work yesterday i was first on the road as well , so that didnt help, driving conditions are atrocious, went out to the Team Val;ley this morning, and you still have iditos doing 70mph on the A1, Black ice all over the place,all i can say Idiots

    At least 3 inches of snow since Friday, here in the North East. More on the way. Looks wonderful outside, but driving in it is atrocious, took me an hour to get to work yesterday mornign , journey usually about 15 mins, Been to team valley this morning, main roads are passable, but there is still alot of snow around especially on side streets, be careful

    Morning everyone Well the temperature dropped down to -5.2c at 0156hrs this morning, and has now slowly crawled its way back up to -2.4c Last 4 days min temperatures= 17th= -0.9c 18th= -2.6c 19th= -4.2c 20th= -5.2c Max temperatures as follows 17th== 3.6c 18th==0.6c 19th==2.3c 20th==-2.4c so far More snow fell last night , giving us a decent covering, and im expecting more snow later Now this is what i call winter way hay bring it on

    Evening everyone Coldest night since last winter, current temp here in the North East just 7.9c Dew point down to 3.4c We have had 3 days of North Easterly breezes, BRRRRRR its gonna be a a very long winter

    Appalling here in the North East June and July was a complete washout, July was the worst month, August wasnt too bad, but still wet since moving here 9 years ago this has to be one of the worst summers i have witnessed

    Evening OON I took these from Seasons holiday complex in Whitbarrow Village, which is at the back of the Sportsman Inn on the A66 10 mile East of Keswick, the complex is in the Foothills of Blencartha Fells

    I have recorded 132.0mm so far this month, which is about two months rain in one month Well above average for the month, Wettest month of the year so far, SUMMER WHAT SUMMER a few decent days, with decent temperatures, {wow} lol
