    Clouded over around 4pm then the temp seem to dip, feels a lot fresher tonight than last.

    It was raining here in Stroud when i got home, bye bye snow.

    Snow is hanging on grimley around my way, it's frozen solid this morning to.

    Very frosty start here with freezing fog patches, all of the snow melt running across roads have frozen causing numrous accidents. My road had still alot of slush on which froze overnight and was like driving over lumpy concrete.

    I think you're right it will all be gone today, temps are very balmy.

    Yeah we have a week of frosts ahead of us which puts us into the third week of Feb, winter is starting to run out now for anything prolonged. If we get no further snow fall I will not be disapointed as this winter has been the best for years and years and I have really enjoyed it.

    I think my standards have risen over the past week as we had three inches last night which left me thinking what a none event, and as BB says there's nowt in Bristol.

    I know the Swindon Hospital had issues with people getting in so like you say it's best be safe than sorry, it's blooming wet here in Bristol this morning.

    I reckon this is going to be a none event today for us, it was raning when i left home.

    The southern edge of the snow is further south than the M4 on that map, looks more like Yeovil northwards

    All the slush freezing here now, it's going to be deadly first thing.

    yeah dogs we had more snow today and i'm not far from you although I am on high ground. Got ambushed by the local kids tonight huge snowball in the road whcih i couldn't get past in the car stopped and then the snowballs came!! grrrrrr

    Taken today on the A470 between Merthyr Tydfil (however you spell it) snd Brecon, yes the lake did have ice floating on the top. Again taken today.

    Drove across there this afternoon all clear.

    Just went out and cleared the path and start up my old car, the locks were frozen, the snow had started to melt then froze and where the water had run over the lock it froze it. Sky was very clear.

    Yeah in fairness Richard Angwyn said that last night, looks likely to be tomorrow night. There is a line in the sky, clouds clearing from the north(?) once this has finally drifted over the temps are going to drop through the floor, I can see it being lower than forecast with tomorrow nights being a corker.

    I think you could be right on this occation, we have done very well this week so mustn't grumble.

    I thought that earlier, a thaw had started to set in but i think it's stopped, when I went out earlier the wind was really biting it's going to be cold tonight with all tis snow around. Actually as I type i can look out of the window at a tree which has some snow on which had started to melt but now has icicles hanging below.

    You wil not have a problem, these photo's were taken over looking Stroud so quite high up, lower levels are clear.
