  1. At least you want have to be there for too long, but there was no need for her to shout in front of the little ones. The day we moved into this house, we were unloading the car, it was raining and our next door neighbour told us we couldn't park there, we couldn't park any further forward than the plant pot, otherwise they could not swing into their drive.

  2. Moving is always stressful, but I felt that this one for me was more stressful because of the added importance of the impact on little mans secondary school choices, so I understand how you feel with little fellas school, but I am sure everything will be ok in the end. It will just need you to be strong and organised whihc I know you are so don't stress too much

  3. know exactly what you mean Katie, we were told on 5.5.06 that the owner was selling our house and we had moved by 20.5.06! Also have the added stress of the fact that little man is sitting his 11+ this year and because we are now in a different county all of our options for secondary schools has changed and therefore all the visits and research that I had done was all in vain because now they are not an option. Alson on 29.5.06 Little man did a prcatice climb at Scarfel Pike for the 3 peaks and so although we moved in on 20.5.06 I have still got things in boxes and now this weekend it is the 3 peaks in 24hrs! Anyway I hope you move goes successfully and that you will be happy. Take care

  4. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Having lost my Dad jsut 3 years after he retired, then my Mum and 16 weeks after her my sister I understand how you must be feeling. Remember he will always be in your thoughts and in your heart and as such will necer be far away. There are times when you will feel lost and low and times when you will be able to smile about things that he said or did. If you feel the need to moan or scream and shout at someone, I'm here and I will understand. Take Care and God bless

  5. It seems he could be sufering depression and is taking it out (in a sort of way) against his remaining family.

Being +ive : great dedication by your lad :D and good on you for fighting the cancer. It has really hit me (due to family & friends suffering) in the last year how widespread cancer is and how many forms of it there are.

My sister in law to be's Mum has suffered with and recovered from breast cancer in the last 12 months or so and is full of praise for Macmillan :) .

Thanks for this Andy. Sorry to here about your friends & family but glad that people you know have had a positive experience with Macmillan. They were great when I was diagnosed and fantastic when my dad was dying. There are only 4 of us in my immediate family, me, my mum dad and sister and they have all died from cancer so I know what it's like to have those you love suffer from this disease, but what some people seem to forget is that it doesn't just affect the person with cancer, but all those around them. That is why Adam is so determined to help.
