What time today for the winter forecast?

I done a quick comparrison of the sst,s going back 10 years. The last time we had a cold pool off to our south west was 2003. What a great winter we had. We had two lows dive south and cold air under cut them, lots of the white stuff. Some snow now falling in cainrgorm

We just had a huge thunderstorm come through the east coast of ireland within the last hour. Parts of wicklow, dublin meath and killdare have been hit. Epic lightening, thunder and hail the size of a penny. Many roads are now flooded, drains blocked with leaves etc. This storm packed a punch. Lasted about 20 minutes. Rain like i havent see in a long time.
