    I have feeling them showers off norfolk will mostly die out before they get to essex, t 2.9 dp 1.1.

    If they are heavy they prob turn to snow, but on low ground or near coast rain and sleet think.

    BBC Radio Essex weatherman jim bacon seems pretty sure we may get few snow showers overnight.

    I prob wrong but it realy looks like on radar the heavy stuff is having a job to get to the coast, play a few frames on the nw radar and look at suffolk and norfolk coast.

    Temp and dp slowly going up here, t -1.4 dp -4.4

    -1.1c here with dew of -3.9, very cold day for here being next to the north sea.

    Interesting here at the mo, temp is falling as the wind has turned south east pulling in the cold air from france,-0.7here in clacton, but i see manston airport in kent is -4c with dew point of -6 .

    Feeling very raw and cold here, with very light snow grains, temp -0.6c, still think inland areas of essex around stansted will do very well tonight with maybe 10cm plus. still think only 5cm at best on coast.

    I am thinking that and me being on coast too air temps be around +1c reckon, with on shore wind.i am going for 5cms of wet snow at best here and maybe just rain and sleet by morning,think west essex will do very well out of it,being on higher ground.

    Not liking the 6Z gfs for here, more borderline,think the higher ground in west essex and west norfolk and suffolk will do well, up to 6ins with prob 12hours nearly non stop snow sat night, sunday.

    Still only -1.1 here, stuff in north sea looking more interesting, need it to come westwards a little bit more,maybe a messy drivetime later in parts of essex and kent.

    Saturday night, sunday morning the air temps will prob be around 2c with a on shore wind here on coast, the 850uppers look like being about only -5, and dew point around -2,so maybe borderline for snow on essex coast, also tonights event looks like non event now.

    Saturday nite the dew points look like being around -2 here on the coast, and with on shore wind the temp here will prob be around 2c, and uppers look only -5 so maybe borderline for snow here on coast, maybe if it gets heavy it be ok? tonights snow event looking like non event as looks like the snow over holland going to miss us.

    Think it is just the radar mucking about, clear here with just the odd patch of cloud.

    Brave call by the bbc national forcasts saying hardy any showers in the east, they may be eating their words by thurs lol

    Temp -0.7 with some mist, was foggy overnight, can see the tops of the showers of the coast, maybe few here later.
