    Just had a small storm here,dumped about 11mm rain in about an hour ,still modarate rain,but no thunder now

    Very heavy rain just to the north of clacton, some places near colchester have had nearly an inch of rain so far today

    Above freezing now, becoming very misty, snow cover will not take long to go now,light rain at mo.

    think we will get fairly low temps tonight before midnight too, maybe around -5 here,what everyones thoughts on the freezing rain, sleety stuff we may get later tonight?, looks like being a very icey mess out there in morning.

    Think i will nearly have a ice day here, t -2.8 dp 3.9 and both still falling .it is -15 in some places the other side of the north sea at mo, and few light snow showers maybe for essex and kent later too as we now have a east flow.

    Heads up north kent, showers are getting bigger to the north of you.

    Hum them showers are starting to make good progress south though norfolk and in to suffolk, also a shower on radar of the coast here moving south to north kent.

    No we need a northeast flow for that, not sure if the winds i meant to go more north east later tonight??
