    Lightning over clacton seafront this afternoon

    Storm south of here lightning every 30sec,moving north, north east, look like walton ,harwich area in firing line

    Love the weather but was all bit real last night a house was hit in my mums road in clacton about 4 30,everyone fine who was in there thank god,only damage at me mums was a burnt phone socket,burnt out router and it mucked a sky box up and pc,hoping for maybe a calmer night but not sure it will happern

    Had a 2nd storm here was lot more active thunder lighting every 30sec mostly cloud cloud as high based, 5mins of heavy rain,moving north now

    Tiny thundery shower here. poped up off essex coast fairly high based only heard a few rumbles no lighting and just few large spots rain

    Driving along clacton seafront just now saw lighting every few mins to my south west over kent
