i saw that blob too on radar but think its a fulse return,i looked on marine traffic website and there was big ship leaving harwich harbour,i seen that happen loads times -
Just woke up looked outside reckon at least another 5cm since about 11pm.and bit more to come .The big red blob looks like missing me to the south.wind picking up now

Had a fair few snow showers overnight.looks about 5cm out there.classic North East streamer set up ish where Essex coast and north Kent get it but rest of Essex wondering what fuss is all about.looks few more to come this morning before winds go to east and we lose the longer track of sea

Fairly heavy shower just now,settling ok on grass but where suns been on road and pavement today not sticking yet but that will change soon i rekcon

That lot of showers forming off the suffolk coast maybe the main event,only slight dusting here in clacton and most of that gone now due to the dry air

Light showers here.radar looking messy not helping there seems to be a hole over Clacton on radar.there does seem to be more yellow on radar last 10mins or so

Everyone getting jumpy looking at radars already enjoy your sunday any showers will be light tonight only giving dusting think and the air so dry a lot of laying snow will evaporate on the ground,fun starts monday afternoon rekcon.

Its nearly time to stop all the talking and radar watch,around late afternoon sunday the -10uppers roll in then its game on,cant wait to see the snow shower clouds that sometimes have that pink ish look about them,just hope most of the streamers dont stay offshore miss north essex and then roll into kent as sometimes happerns

I got a nasty feeling most of the snow showers are going to north of norfolk where there is a longer sea track,winds need a bit more north east in then here in south east,models showing east ,south east winds at mo,lincs and yorkshire coasts will be in for some beefy showers think

Heard weatherqrest weather company based in Norwich on BBC Suffolk this morning they was very down beat for next week.saying if there's any heavy showers there be north Norfolk northwards due to longer sea track with east winds

BBC Essex radio was very upbeat this morning re wintry weather next week all from BBC weather center.she was saying good chance of some good coverings of snow

Rain sleet odd bit snow here,temp and dew point both dropping,looking like will start clearing here in about a hour,as others saying think roads will be very icey later
