    On the drive home from work at 10pm, there was some very heavy rain indeed which kept turning to sleet with some very large flakes.

    Rain turned to snow at about 4am here in Leeds. Nothing has setteled exept a little slush on car windows. As the PPN moved away it has turned to a sleety drizzle.

    One of the worst thunderstorms I have ever witnesed in this country passed over Leeds in the Last hour. Very very heavy rain with thunder and lightning and then the hail came, it must of been 5-10mm in diametre and lasted a good 10-15 minutes.

    Temp around the 9-10oc at the mo (sorry i dont have a thermometre). We have heavy showers and as I type I am in the middle of a thunder storm. Counted 1 flash of lightning and four Very loud claps of thunder. Edit--- Make that 2 flashes and 7 claps of thunder now. Edit No 2 very heavy hail with more thunder and lightning. At the moment everything is turning white outside!
