  1. Dry and sunny this morning, clouded over in the afternoon with light rain this evening. Maximum 14.7, minimum 7.9. Wind moderate SSW. Yesterday: dry in the morning with sunny spells, heavy thundery showers with some hail from lunchtime onwards. Maximum 15.5, minimum 11.4. Wind moderate SW.
  2. Finally caved in and put the heating on this evening - although it was 18 degrees in the living room I was starting to get pretty chilly in the box room/office at the back of the house.
