Winter Model Discussion 06Z 10/01/13>

[quote name=' Now, assuming the massively highly regarded short term NAE is correct, then these differences at 48hrs will have a massive butterfly effect down the line. -
Winter Model Discussion 06Z 10/01/13>
SupaSnowy replied to Coast's topic in Spring Weather Discussion
Well I'm finding this very interesting, either way one model has to be right, looking forward to this evening. Hopefully we will finally have some sort of idea and agreement on all models, or maybe not haha. Of cause I would like the UKMO or ECM to be right as you can tell by my name. Gotta say though GFS is being very stubborn and could well turn out to be correct again. But with pretty much everything else going against it surely there is something wrong? Fascinating times. -

Well UKMO came closer to what the others are saying but as always the case everyone is already worrying when the breakdown will come. Looking forward to the ECM can we have a Stella run or will it come back down to earth. I think we have a very good chance of a cold 4-5 days coming up, after that its anyone's guess. I think we have a good chance of it carrying on, we all know the GFS likes to power up the lows in FI. Once again another night of nerves and ups and downs, but hey that's the fun in model watching. -

Don't think we have any chance down here and me being right on the coast. Everything against us down here. Bring on next week. -
Been looking at GFS, ECM etc for years and never had such great fun viewing them over the past few days. Look forward to tomorrow, Im still going to hold back as I have been let down more times then not. If GP is right then this could be just the start and only get better by mid January. As many people say get the cold here first then the snow will come.(most times) haha. I'm sure the UKMO will look better tomorrow. If only the ECM would come true but that's pretty extreme. I am so tempted to wait up for the 00z I'm sure many other people are to haha.
