    Aw its slowing down quite abit now, I fear thats it unless it magically swings more north and I could get the rest of that to the south haha Yeah we had some really heavy snowfall at one point for a good while!! The roads are all covered, infact, everythings covered again!

    Getting even heavier now, wow, just wow! Better than last weeks snowfall for sure, even though it wont amount to as much, is this ppn just going to go west? Id like it to hang around abit longer or come back this way but thats just greedy!

    Beeches Road in Birmingham, huge road, VERY busy during the mornings in the working week has not been gritted and is covered in snow, a good 2cm or more on there as I had a look. How longs this going on for? Gobsmacked at the snow and failure to grit this road. Havock tomorrow morning. Caution to all drivers tomorrow, due to the 25% less grit useage alot of main roads will be icey and snowy.

    Heavy snow now, its produced a good few cms now!! Shame its over within the next half hour I'd say!

    The main road now has snow on, that little bit of grit didnt do anything then. If only this could last a few more hours! Theres about 1cm of fresh snow now on roads and cars.

    Im praying the snow reaches me on Tues/Wed in North Birmingham its gunna be a close one.. I dont expect it too though.

    Im expecting some sort of precip. from the band moving west from the east. Heading straight for North Birmingham!

    We've also had very very light snow on and off all day which turned more sleety in the afternoon, its turned back to snow now and falling a little heavier, still light though.

    I now consider this cold spell... over. Back to drizzle, rain, puddles, muggy dark clouds full of rain. Ah well, its been VERY good!!

    Sorry to hear about your event, or lack of! I think it'll be the same for us in the Midlands to be honest. This was just one whole precautionary thing by the BBC I feel. Im sure theres more to come your way, it isnt over yet its only 6am! Plus, Monday looks good?

    Well its showing snow for me for the best part of Sunday and the precepition map shows precip. for me on Monday too for pretty much the whole day. Although, it all sounds too good to be true.

    Haha, im not 100% we are all playing the guessing game at the moment Case of wait and see at the moment, anything can happen when it moves into the sea and reaches eastern side of UK.

    It'd have to be built in the kitchen if it was a snow woman, and unfortunatly, unless you dont have a roof then it doesnt tend to snow in the kitchen :lol: I joke

    You hope your at the Coventry game We (Walsall) havent had a match since December 19th, its so annoying! Winds really picked up here in Nrth B'ham. Light snow still falling too!

    Tomorrow I expect a only about 1cm at best, if I see anything. I am once against only expecting another 2cm on Monday as I doubt they will be heavy showers.

    Football Topic - Im a Walsall fan Back onto the topic of weather...feels very cold at the moment, we've had very light small snow showers throughout the day amounting to nothing though.

    Monday does look good, surprised as to why theres no weather warnings as it does look like it may be persistant snow fall for much of the day.
