    I think we are going to have to wait for a more potent cold spell unfortuantly, temperatures just arent up to it. It's surprising how much intensity there is in these narrow troughs that form though

    Not even a flake!! Just rain, rain, and maybe some periods of sleet. Being so close to the coast we struggle big time for snow, we only managed 5cm here last year in the depth of the big freeze! Just went out too and may of heared a rumble of thunder! Ice may be a problem though yes with the clear skies to follow

    I was originally refferring to places such as Carmarthen and Pont Abraham that are further inland and at a higher elevation than I am

    From the looks of the traffic camera's earlier only a select few places have had a covering.

    Didn't get anything here overnight which was expected really since places at higher elevations got nothing either, hoping to catch a few showers later!

    Is it just me or is the precip rotating around a point just west of Pembrokeshire? Or was it meant to do that anyway....

    Temperature suddenly starting to drop more rapidly...down to 3.9c, rain getting a bit heavier

    The low looks even further south on the 18z GFS.....what effect will this have? Will any snow forecast be further south?

    Had a quick look at the GFS for the weekend, on saturday especially, -6c 850's covering wales with 522 thickness in a NW airflow..... Edit: We've just had a beast of a hail shower, so much hail has fallen there are tracks in the road!
