    Well Swindon must be 'up there' in the no storms club.Very poor this year considering the amount of storms around this year. How can i turn this 'shield' off? :lol:

    We had a few rumbles during the intense rain.Huge convective drops and like a monsoon!

    Absolutely chucking it down here and a big rumble of thunder! looks like convection has developed over the Swindon area, nicely shown on the netweather radar.

    Yes i can confirm some very heavy rain now in Swindon but no electrical activity, nothing again for Swindon but fingers crossed for later.

    I feel Swindon has this year developed it's very own storm shield There have been quite a few storm around this year but not over Swindon...............still waiting!!

    Lots of snow here in Swindon after heavy rain all day!

    Nearly an inch of snow for Swindon, everything is white again!

    We've had about 6" of snow overnight and it's still falling heavily. My kids are off school and the wife cannot get to work, but has since been told they are shut! Luckily i'm off work too. Between yesterday and today we've had about a foot of snow. The Netweather radar is an interesting viewing and looks as if Devon has taken a pasting.Anyone confirm?

    Crazy loads of snow in Swindon and it's still coming down.Radar shows it clearing West.All the schools shut around here so i'm off to build a snowman in the back garden!!
