  1. can someone tell me how to insert the charts into a message
  2. Definitely remember lamp post watching that one. Heavy rain in the evening turned to heavy snow overnight. Very active cold front.
  3. Thank you Wilson for posting the article. Without stating the obvious, one of the challenges for the insurance and re-insurance industry is to properly set insurance premiums to cover weather related claim risks. To date, most insurers and re-insurers have failed badly so far and only rely on their investors to bail them out e.g last year's hurricanes.
  4. In September I thought we'd get a Spanish plume, little did I know that the night time would be so warm For Oct, I'm expecting a fairly changeable and windy month indispersed with settled spells and a couple of northerly topplers. CET of 10.5
  5. I really don't think you have read the article literally nor intuitively. If you read it carefully there are plenty references.
  6. Hi Paul, So why has the UN had to produce a treaty against weather modification? http://www.state.gov/t/ac/trt/4783.htm
  7. Here's my input for the GW debate. Admittedly very left of centre but no one has mentioned the idea of "Weather Modification" as an explanation of (man made) climate change at all. http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?con...;articleId=2084
  8. This is George Monbiot's real agenda - A One World Government http://home.ca.inter.net/~greenweb/New_World_Order.html
  9. strato-cumulus 7/8, windy, N. Previously sunny
  10. Here's a recipe for sun dried tomatoes. May need to cheat a bit about leaving in sun to dry http://homecooking.about.com/od/howtocookv...driedrecipe.htm Add extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, oregano and a bay leaf. Buon Appetito as my parents would say.
  11. Further to post #2 above. I shall endeavour to find and post a peer reviewed AGW sceptic paper. In the meantime, could those members who use the phrase "ah, but they're funded by Big Oil", please explain the origins of the Big Oil companies at the turn of the C20th and the associated dynastic families.
  12. Thanks SS for starting this thread Here's my contribution http://www.magma.ca/~hurleyp/FightingTheHoax.htm
  13. The most notable memory of summer were the hot nights - 23c during the night! July reminded me a lot of 1983 and 1994 which were very warm months followed by a cool August
  14. I think it is important to see both sides of the IAN/AGW debate. I am reminded by the views of Galileo Galilei which were considered by the Roman Catholic Church at the time of the inquisition to be heretical. Might the IAN side be onto something? Perhaps one of the very long term side effects of GW is a cooling trend for Western Europe?
  15. Changeable and windy then settling down towards the end of the month Possible spanish plume, therefore I go with 14.7c
  16. fairly flat jet, some AzH ridging so I guess 17.3c
