    You can expect snow at any time out of nowhere in this setup. There are lots of heavyish showers bubbling-up over Wales but a lot are fizzling out over the higher ground and not making it here but some will get through. It's just a case of lamppost watching. As for Sunday, yes, there is a good chance of some more significant snowfall but its not nailed on. Won't really know for sure until a couple of hours in advance.

    This may be unrelated to model-watching (and will therefore probably be deleted) but, if the severity of the potential snow is as predicted, surely the Met Office should be upgrading their alerts. In my area they are forecasting light snow on Friday and nothing on Saturday

    Gawd my nerves can't take this. Man City at home and wondering if it will snow or will it be a damp squib.

    1/10 for me. Less than a centimetre of granules when we had been warned to expect 7 - 10 cms. Cant believe how poor all the forecasting was. Even, whisper it quietly, the boffins on the Model Discussion Thread were miles out. Think I'll resort to hanging bits of kelp from the washing line from now on!

    Ah, Road Rash on the megadrive. The hours I spent playing that game. I even loved the music!! What chance for snow in Harsthill tomorrow night Andy? My other half is driving back fromm Worcester tomorrow evening and shes wondering whether to book a hotel.

    I live in Hartshill (180m asl) and work in Leicester (90 asl). I am surprised by the amount of snow still lying in the Leicester suburbs compared to what we have left in Hartshill.

    Still snowing steadily here. 5 inches of lying snow in back garden. What a cracking day - loads of snow and the mighty Gooners hit seven! Happy days!

    -6.5 in Atherstone. Dense freezing fog and very icy roads

    Still have thick snow in Mkt Harborough. Has thawed but has a nice boost yesterday morning to top things up. Estimate about 7-8" in the back garden. What chances for more tomorrow?
