Amazing after nearly two years, I've found somebody that has determined the issues I have with my foot. Had two casts taken so orthotic inserts for my shoes can be produced, then maybe I'll be able to walk better. Looking at all the inserts I'd bought, plus various other bits, the fine gent said "You may as well take that lot home with you!" (Hmmm, having spent good English pounds on that bag of rubbish). But at long last there's hope. Meanwhile the dreary conditions continue with patchy drizzle, I just feel like getting out of the Uk for something different, even if its rain.
A maximum of 9.3°C at: 01:54, currently 7.8°C.
So near yet so far...

Morning All, an overcast yet bright start to the day, after an overnight low of 6.9°C at: 08:10, currently 7.8°C, RH83% with a light breeze in from the W - SW.
From Above, cloud is further west than suggested it might be by the MetO yesterday forecast, so looks to be a while before some warming sunshine
On Golden sands, some patches of blue around

A quick visit to the MOD thread, oh boy, I've come out dizzy! One interpretation says "Yup cold air", another says "Cold easterly air", another goes "Not even cold enough for snow in Scotland". Meanwhile people hang on to the 10day chart like they REALLY believe them, come on now, so rarely have 10day charts manged to count down to day 1 with the same synopsis.

yea I know sigh. I'm usually bright at stuff like that but I was rushing to get to bed as it was 1am and I had been working on opening the shop since 5pm. I was just hurrying and then trying to get to bed so didn't think properly. My bad.
They are really clever now, so sorry to have heard this.
Yes, sorry to hear you were "hit", they really are getting smart these days, and easy to get caught off-guard, even if its not 1am in the morning.

Spent the last two days driving around the Dorset and Hampshire countryside, in the sunshine, oh and managed to get lost in Southampton backstreets due blockage on M27 this afternoon. Still plenty of water around on the country lanes it appears, but kept my wife happy with the country views. Why, well I was trying out a possible new car, so figured it had to cope with the full range of roads, and I gave it that, but it did remarkably well, taking it back with an empty tank!
Meanwhile, the scores on the doors, maximum of 11.8°C at: 13:43, currently 9.8°C.
PS If this "winter" has run out of ideas what to do next, can we move on to an early Spring please?

Morning Campers! Been to Suvamptin. Visited hobbycraft and haskins. Brought a blackberry plant to put in a pot. Couldn't find a blueberry one so brought one on Amazon. The end.
You could have picked up a copy of this for him indoors!

Odd, the reply button seems to have gone on here.
Anyone else not seeing it.
There is a new button, bottom left, but that just seems to add the poster name of the thread above, how strange. This is what I get when I select the quoted and select reply button

Wonder how good they are. And whether it would be too heavy
Its not that they are heavy, they are fairly light, the challenge comes that you have to remember all the force to make the blades cut the grass is provided by you, so for long grass you could be forward and backwards a few times to get the blades to cut through the grass.

@Dorsetbred Hahahaha! I would feel awful calling him all that way just to cut the miniscule lawn! I should get one of those push along things and do it myself. I am scared of the electric one. Would probably cut my toes off or something!!

A woman blinded by the sun roared out of a side road and crashed into my pick up. Nobody got hurt lots of witnesses buzzing about. I got away lightly by comparison her car was a total write off.5 seconds earlier...5 seconds later...it doesn't happen...small margins eh
Good to hear you (and the other driver ) are OK.

Morning All, what a cracker, shorts and 'T' (but then again winter is always shorts & T) to really appreciate the warmth this morning, after an overnight low of 6.0°C at: 08:19, currently 9.9°C, RH74% with light air movement from the NW.
From Above, looking good
On Golden sands a couple of brave folks enjoying the somewhat 'fresh' water

Last day at Sparsholt College today.
Ah, you'll be a learned person then, able to command top salaries wherever you go, but most importantly you can cut grass.
Talking of which, if you are called upon to the Winchester Palace of delights @*Stormforce~beka* place, then you can now command a cuppa once the lawn is complete.

You can use that when you're feeling cold.
