I've applied some weed and feed to the grass this morning. I'll whisper it quietly, but now need a bit of rain for it to do its thing.

Well it's stopped raining. Small mercies and all that.

    "Too late" we all cried.

  2.  *Stormforce~beka* Have a read of the enclosed:

    DOWNDERRY-NURSERY.CO.UK

Lavender plant care including pruning advice.

Its also worth looking at a high potash feeder, something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Chempak-High-Potash-Fertiliser-Formula/dp/B00K6GWJCK/ref=sr_1_6?sr=8-6

To hopefully bring it on, make sure it's not going to get too much water in the the mean time.

@jtay  please feel free to shut me up if I am providing anything wrong in trying to resuscitate the sad looking lavender.

OH NO, you mean it's not true😪

PS Mrs Miggins tearoom closed in Hexham earlier this year, Harry Ramsdens or WestBeach are as near the Pier that you might be brave enough to venture in to!

  4.  *Stormforce~beka* Anything you can break, like plant pots (not plastic) , plates, cups, bricks, you name it, I suspect you might have a better chance if you put it in a pot, given that we are due to see more rain over the next 5 days or so. A friendly garden centre might have some broken pots, you only need a little if you put it in a pot to try and bring it on.

Does it look dead to you? It was only new last year!

Do a quick test, select a twig of lavender bend it, if it breaks then could well be dead, but if it bends and doesn't snap there's a fair chance it's slow in getting its act together. Lavender is quite hardy temperature wise, so I'd not really think the cold has killed , more like the excess of rain. JTAY has given you the good info.
