Will storm

1cm covering had about 10mins of heavy snow.

Hi I measured the displacement, its 30cm and in some parts 40-50cm. I thought there was another one last night the winds were so strong.

Some pics of the sunset while I was out looking for damage caused by the earthquake.I was only 5 miles from the epicentre so the shaking was very strong.I was up looking at my watch when I could here a loud rumble and shaking sound.Then the ground just started to move up and down. I could here all my books on the shelf come falling down and plates downstairs rattling. Thank god it was over quickley. The only damage in my house is some cracks on the walls.Along the side of our local stream you can see where the land has slipped down only by a foot along with small areas of the path cracked and broken down. Anyway I quite enjoyed the event but my mum was very shaken.

No wonder it felt so strong I was only 7 miles from the epicentre

2nd Earthquake I've felt here but this was alot stronger than the last one. My mums on the sofa shaking like a leaf

The whole house was moving here. Plates fell over, people outside with torches. The whole room was moving.

I saw one of these on the 13th July 2004. It was seen widely across Lincolnshire ,Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. Its called a Circumzenithal arc and is quite rare. It comes from refraction through ice crystals as opposed to water droplets. Thats why its seen higher in the sky.More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumzenithal_arc

Just took this from the garden

Still alot of people in Lincolnshire without power. The light flickered here. The wind was incredible the trees were literally having leafs ripped off and taken down the road in the wind.The rain went up at one point the winds were so strong. Pic of a tree near my village.

Did anyone hear a loud booming sound a couple of mins ago? Some very bright meteors now.

Seen about 20 meteors now!

Seen 5 now within 20mins. Some very bright orange meteors.

Just seen 2 meteors both one after the other.

It was orange Will storm

Just seen an amazing fireball lasting about 3 seconds streak across the sky to the NE.
