My 3rd weather pic of lightning 9th July

A light shower came over with a very dark based cloud. There's lots of convection around this morning with very large towers.

My first 2 for the month Sunset cumulus Rainbow

The 24h accumulation over my area shows the most amount of rainfall in Lincolnshire fell over my village:o . No wonder the the stream flooded over.

Sheets of heavy rain have been falling since 4 with 2 rumbles of thunder. Flooding at the local park and outside my house.

Torrential rain here for the past 5 mins starting to get worried now because it looks like there's lots more on the way.And with winds gusting to 35mph its very scarey outside.

The rain is coming down heavy here with lots of standing water starting to form on the roads.

Had 3 storms this afternoon. No lightning but plenty of thunder. I saw a funnel cloud to my north earlier which lasted nearly 6mins. You have to look hard to see it.

From 3.30-3.50 at school in lincoln the heavens opened hail the size of marbles left a covering the lightning and thunder was awsome.

Heavy snow started falling at 7pm and its still snowing now, big flakes settling on roofs and trees none on the ground.

This morning we had a near blizzard which nearly settled. At the moment its snowing lightly but i can see another cb coming soon :lol:

Heavy snow started about 2 hour ago and has built up to an inch. Still snowing now.

Amazing amounts of snow falling now! In a mater of mins we've had 1cm hope it lasts longer

Lightning from the 6th July thunderstorm.

The frost and the ice on the 21st to the 22nd of december.

Another pic of the tree damage.My friend at school who lives in the middle of nowhere was in the direct path of the storm.She said she was comparing the hailstones to apples!but didn't have any really strong winds.

A severe storm came over my village and caused some considerable damage on the 21st oct 2004.It occured around 6:30pm. It ripped off two roofs and felled 2 trees.The storm had lightning with only about 6 second intervals.Unluckly i was stuck in the storm as it occured.The storm only lasted seconds but was scarey.The weather instrument at my home in the garden recorded a max gust of 75mph and it wasent even in the center of the storm.I thought it was just a downburst or something but as i looked at the damage around the village it seemed to go in a line direction.Also as my mum and dad and me started running to the shop just before the storms full intensity twigs and other parts of tree were already falling from the sky.Here is a map of the damage(black dots) and the direction of the storm(red arrows): The winds were strong enough to blow over a patio heater and it bearly missed a car. Saw up to 20 meteors and 3 amazing blue fireballs.
