  1. Just great...all this cold dry weather and it just rained! Boring old rain.
  2. Sounds a teeny bit like Robin Cooper (of Timewaster Letters/phonecalls) to me!
  3. I really must get myself a new weather station...or a thermometer at least. I must remember next time I go to maplins. Anyway it's been a lovely pretty calm winter's day here. Nice hazy sunshine. Still some frost about but oddly it doesn't feel as cold as that.
  4. Ooh wow thank you! I am about to turn 30 so my Mum tells me tales of walking from the hospital (I was born on the 16th) with me in her arms to the car knee deep in snow.
  5. Here today's weather is exactly how I now expect (and remember) Christmas to be, dull and mild sadly.
  6. Is there something wrong with the snow risk chart...it says 50% chance for me on Christmas night!
  7. Wasn't sure where to post this link about snowflakes but I'm sure some of you will find it interesting http://www.newscientist.com/gallery/dn16170-snowflakes/
  8. Thanks! Not sure I was supposed to be taking pics but Brian from E17 was distracting the air hostesses enough for me sneakily do it. Most annoyed I didn't get by the window on the way out, had a gorgeous sunrise.
  9. Yay first proper frost of the year, just hoping it's even whiter tomorrow. Really lovely winter's morning.
  10. Wow! Beautiful chilly blue sky morning with some puddles still frozen. It'll be ruined I'm sure when I get rain for lunch instead of the white stuff.
  11. Nope, I only saw tulip bulbs in shops! The clouds were sneaky shots out the plane window.
  12. Is it online after? I totally forgot to get my Craven fix today. Those clocks going back I'm all out of sync.
  13. a few pics from my recent holiday to the south coast (bigger on my flickr).
  14. Saw this approaching rain cloud yesterday evening. I have a new camera and it's the first time I had used it. I have no idea how to use it yet!
  15. I don't know if this has been posted already but I had to pass it on here http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=E7mEMveOock
  16. Paul Smith of Maximo Park twice and then Ian Watkins of Lost Prophets. The sunset was during Stereophonics set and the twilight shot was while waiting for Prodigy.
  17. haha yeah I don't think we are going back! Waited over an hour for dinner (not fun with 3 kids) and found they forgot the order so got 50% off. Can you recommend anything better seeing you have local knowledge...we are hopefully going back in the autumn. Yep I found that out when I saw my friend's flickr. He got some great pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/liabilitygrim...ted/2008/08/06/
