    A friend in Cranbrook, Kent just told me about thunder, lightening and a layer of ice in her garden from the hail thats just come down. Gorgeous here though.

    Manky old heavy sleet all morning. Got soaked on the school run. Very frustrating, if it had been proper snow and had settled we'd have had a good few cms by now i reckon! Tracy :lol:

    Yes i woke up to a pleasant surprise - about 2-3 cms and it was snowing. Sun out now though so it's melting.

    Woken to a nice dusting this morning and it's been snowing a little on and off since i woke about half hour ago.

    Obviously none here in essex but I have friends in Warrington and Sheffield both reporting snow to me. Sheffield in very technical terms have big bits! Tracy xx

    my sister in chelmsford just called. it was raining she took a phone call for 5 minutes went back to the window and everything is covered! loads of snow! getting darker and the wind picking up more so fingers are crossed!

    friend from colchester just called saying it's snowing "big time" there at the moment. just grey and cloudy here but wind seems to be picking up.

    we got snow around 2.30am. it was lovely but it has melted apart from on the grass.
