    I was on holiday in Pevensey Bay (tried to get on here but login is not mobile phone compatible) and got to see the fantastic storms Wednesday night. It was great. We came out Frankie and Bennys about 10.30 and saw lots of flashes in the sky, no rain, no sound. Drove to the holiday beachhouse , got kids to bed and watched from the beach. What show! Got a bit scary when they (there were about 3 storms in different directions) right over us though and we lost power!

    Just waiting in the playground for my eldest when there's lightning, huge rumble (cue screaming children) and suddenly torrential rain. Totally soaked through now! Sods law that. Always on the school run.

    I like that name! A quick google and it does very much look like one. You could see more colours before I had my chance to take a picture.

    We were in the car yesterday, I was cloud watching as usual (saw some lovely clouds) and one of them looked all rainbowy. When safe to stop Mr Moogy pulled over and I took these. It was fading by then though. Later on the journey I saw another similar looking cloud, kicking myself I didn't get a picture of that one. Could this be a little bit of circumhorizontal arc?

    About 4am ish we were all woken by big thunder lightning goings on. Not had proper storm like that in ages.

    Ooh wow Dave great pictures! What camera do you have? I hope to get a proper one eventually. Just had a storm leave me about 10 minutes ago, something dark and moody approaching again now.

    Not a lense, I really want a widescreen lense when I have the money though. It gets frustrating when you want to capture the whole sky! I just used autostitch for this one. http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html
