Just rain. Cold rain. 3 degrees and a dew point of 2.

Radar watching not going well, the wintry showers die out just before reaching my town.

First radar blob watching day for me.
I think that sleety looking shower might just be heading my way (SWF). -
No snow here obviously, but what a frost.
Looks like all the cars in my road were painted white in the night.-

Ha not much star watching when they are on. They do turn them off about midnight though.

Just this week they've upgraded my road's street lights to LEDS.
First thought obviously was how much easier it's going to be a lamp post watch... they are much brighter.

Wind has really perked up in the last half hour, along with the rain.
Hope all those in flood risk areas are ok.

This is quite eerie weather here.
Grey skies and that warm wind. The wind has ramped up in the last hour and it's 19 degrees.
Feels very strange. -

Managed to avoid the rain with a well timed walk. There hasn't been too much here today, most of the showers just passing by but I think it might properly rain here in SWF soon.

I've been sitting in the sunshine hearing the distant rumbles and watching the clouds just graze pass my town.
But now it's raining and looks like we are now in the pathway of a storm. -
The storm just grazed past South Woodham, just a bit of rain on the edge got us.
But we did have a great moody view.

I'm really enjoying this rain. I wish I had one of those gazebos with a proper roof so I can get on with my work outside!
And I realised of course it's a wet weekend, Download festival is back.
Things are getting back to normal when festival goers are knee deep in mud.-

The numbers are deceptive, apparently it's 21 here in South Woodham but it feels so much warmer, even though it was nearly 29 yesterday.
I've been sitting in the garden working the past few days.-

Just to make you feel better Blazerblue our heating has been on every night and some daytimes, also we have rain here and it is quite chilly with a strong wind not looking exactly warm for the weekend either as a nne wind is still being forecast. We won't go out over the bank hol too many grockels around so weather will not matter, can sit indoors with nice bacon roll and be nice and warm.
Yes, I've never had my heating on in the day at this time of the year before.

I actually saw some blue sky today. Just a bit, a little bit of brightness during the last hour of daylight so that's when I took a walk.
