  1. My friend in Newcastle reports 8/9cm at the University of Newcastle this morning! Was it really that much! Quite unexpected!!
  2. Anyone from Guernsey on here? Are your showers of snow right now?
  3. Indeed light snow for you throughout Saturday. Jersey likely to see the most light snow of the Channel Islands. Forecast for you here: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/channel-islands/4573977985
  4. Tomorrows Weather For Cornwall: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/next-day/4573724902 Tomorrows Weather for the Channel Islands: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/channel-islands/4573977985
  5. Haha, for me at least this is technically the 2nd day of seeing snow here in Falmouth this winter. Though you cant really count today but still flurries falling. Doesnt like like it will ever get more than that though. Knew the Met Office would be totally wrong for slapping Heavy snow symbols about west Cornwall though!
  6. Apparently a few flakes falling at home too this morning. Flurries here in Falmouth too.
  7. Looks like less flurries for Cornwall than expected however there are a few flakes presently falling.
  8. It is true the temperature is above 0 however the Dewpoint is well below 0c which is most important. In fact its about -3c which quite frankly is excellent for Cornwall. As long as the DP stays below 0c all is good. If this set up of frigid air doesnt bring something wintry, nothing will. And thanks about the website. Its coming on nicely now. Dont intend to add much more but will keep experimenting for now. Have got twitter for the site now too twitter.com/kernowweather
  9. Do i see the radar showing the first bits of precipitation gathering just off the coast near Salcombe now?
  10. Just to note my website is now also providing forecasts for the Channel Islands as again, they are also rather left out even if they are small! More to be done to the website over the weekend hopefully. http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/channel-islands/4573977985
  11. -8.1C DP I see for you now. Absolutely bitter here in Falmouth. Today was one of the first days I genuinely needed a coat for this winter!!! Of course its nearly over. Not bad going! But the wind is perishing, by far the coldest ive experienced not only all winter but probably for some years imo. Met Office still going for light snow here tomorrow morning in Fal. Btw check out my new website as per the link in my signature for Cornwall weather. Would love some feedback. Still work in progress though.
  12. Tomorrows detailed forecast for Cornwall is now available here: Some sunshine for the North but sleet/snow flurries for the South. http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/next-day/4573724902
  13. Heavy snow I seriously doubt. Just a couple of hours of intermittent light snow flurries occasional light snow at times id say. Bitterly cold again.
  14. Well, the charts are suggestive of some light snow or snow flurries in the morning. No accumulation imo. Ill detail things out here later/on my new website for Cornwall weather as per the signature.
  15. Absolutely biting wind out there today. Cuts straight through you. Coldest its felt all winter down here! Less sun than expected too sadly. But light snow tomorrow morning.
  16. Yep, looking good for light snow tomorrow morning here. Biting wind here right now.
  17. Looks like some light snow for us in Falmouth on Friday morning. Would be really strange if here did and the Midlands never got any. But we wont be getting much either but strange all the same. Dont really want the cold now though, more mild or warm temps please!
  18. Thursday 21st February in Cornwall: Prolonged sunshine for many though perhaps cloudier on the South coast around Falmouth and St Austell. A biting cold Easterly wind. Perhaps some snow flurries moving into South East Cornwall by late evening. Full Forecast Here: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/next-day/4573724902
  19. Much windier here thus evening so feeling colder now. Cloudier from now on but not like elsewhere. West Cornwall will be one of the best places to see sunshine throughout this cold spell.
  20. Cloudy but bright here this afternoon in Falmouth but mild. Light snow expected Friday morning.
  21. Strong is not an appropriate word for this time of year. Its still relatively weak though definitely beginning to get considerably stronger but id argue its not strong till April.
  22. Tomorrows Weather for Cornwall now available here: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/
  23. A stunning day in Falmouth once again. Warm in the sun, just. Last of the daylight just fading away now at 6.10pm. Loving it.
  24. Lovely and sunny here with a little bit of high cloud. Pleasant too as the wind is very light.
