    it doesnt look like stalling,in fact it seems to have speeded up!!! the radar shows it positively flying through

    once Essex gets into an easterly air flow.....the moisture off the sea could mean surprises later on in the week, if tonight doesn't deliver the goods . keep the snowfaith peeps x

    very wet snow falling but still not settling...temps dropping +1.9 atm rain today premium showing it turning to sleet for the next few hours over me...hoping that the drop in temps ? at dusk and through the eve will help make it be snow,as opposed to sleet.

    A complete novice here...but would just like to say how much I appreciate the effort put in by the regular posters in here,and your interpretation of upcoming weather is much valued. I know most excitement is caused by snow,but this evolving situation is fascinating, Keep up the good work...brownie points all round!! as its quiet I am posting this,but mods feel free to tidy up if you so wish!

    Despite being within the predicted area for snowfall , the forecast doesnt look great IMBY...however, stranger things have happened so I am not too worried. I havent looked in the main forecast Model thread ....is it still looking like cold set to stay,and with the SSW could it still reload the cold later on in Jan?

    de blob heading for Essex is looking (according to raIn today premium) to go from 0.3 mm to 1 to 3 mm worth of precipitation,...we can only hope it colours us white

    Does anyone have any idea if Danbury/Maldon Essex are likey to get much snow in the next 24 hours...i live in a village squashed between the two,so eithers forecast will do.. many thanks in advance
