    So where am I hearing this new thunder from then? Can't tell from the radar or lightning detectors. Is it just the stuff to the east skimming by a bit closer?

    That's odd...thought it would be clear from there by now. Either the storms have merged or it's slowing down. Maybe the later as the cold front races to catch up the warm front? Dunno.

    Well we did it again...just as we think all is lost we've sneaked in on the fringes of an event. How lucky are we that it intensified when it did? And we got the best out of it too! When we do get amazing weather events here in the Black Country..be it snow or thunder...it seems to be by the skin of our teeth!

    Sferics appearing down in Worcestershire again. Need to see next radar update. Edit: Must be rogue. Only interest downwind from us in the stuff in the Welsh Valleys. That looks interesting mind.

    Yep. Solihull getting their turn now! So the cold front itself in an hour or two time might just have a little afterthought on it?

    I think...think...we're done here. However, there are sfefics in South Wales..which I think may be the cold front itself. So maybe a little more to come? Edit:....um.....maybe we're not done then!

    Indeed! Sadly, we might end up a bit too far west now. But who cares! That was incredible!

    That was amazing though. Still going well but seems to be moving off now. Was so quick hitting but powerful! Very pleased with that one!

    Hmmm...think my last post was wrong. It's all moving so quick. It's at Worcester/Kidderminster already!

    I'm not convinced the Gloucester stuff will. I fear it will be east of the M5 at least by the time it gets this far north. I hope I'm wrong though...and I think I'll stay up a little longer to see what it does because it is causing us some interest at the very least.

    Where in the West Midlands are you? It was close here but I'd never say it was ear splitting. Will be interesting to see where exactly it tracked.

    Not sure we'll get anything more. The northeast push is obvious now. But we got something! And I can still hear it!

    Getting quite a bit closer here now as well. Seems to be to my east already though.

    Seems to be a storm developing and heading this way.

    So it's got about 15 miles to develop into something! Well they've managed to die off between Worcestershire and here before...why not the opposite?
