Yep, been watching that. Looks like Mid Kent in the firing line...Could have a good 1 hour or so of moderate snow. I'm at the Kent Fire & Rescue control room in Maidstone so this could be an interesting start to Friday!

Could this little baby forming of the EA catch a few people out, even the Met Office this morning?
The band moving up through Kent is just a brucie bonus I feel. However West Kent may still do VERY well from the main band tonight. Still deciding if it is stalling or still pushing EAST...Any ideas?
http://en.vedur.is/weather/forecasts/atlantic/#type=prec ECM to 72 for those that want to... ECM following NAE and latest forecasts re, snow tomorrow night. If anything the snow risk maybe further N. No much to the E/SE.
NAE doesn't think so, Paul. Not for the bulk of Kent anyway..

ECM 00z makes things interesting late Tues into Wed
WI I've looked at current radars and there projections and I can't see it, UNLESS wind changes again. Winds as far as I see are North of NE at best and that will only work against us. You've only got to see what heavy stuff that has gone down the channel. I'd LOVE to be proved otherwise come tomorrow morning!!
Snowing in Hythe too, moderately. As for the 8 inches over the hills...I think not as the stuff leaving the dutch coast is now following a more southerly track rather than NE. The channel fisherman will get plastered methinks.
I have a sneaky feeling that a Scandi HP may sneak up on us...All the ingredients are there, frigid cold, eventual snow cover and a jet pummelling southern Europe. One to watch, methinks.
I've just clasped my eyes on those echoes in the channel! Dewpoints marginal here and temps of 2C although peeps reporting drops in both as the front approaches - fascinating.
