    I assume that means better snow chances for our region?

    Past experience has shown that the models can underestimate the strength of any cold block to the east. Wed/thurs is becoming a fascinating watch. The fax charts seem to go well for the north.

    GFS 12z seems to be showing a snowfest, but the problem is the charts with the real eye candy is 12 days away. So we know that won’t work out !

    Snowed from 10am to 6pm non stop but with a decent covering only in higher parts of Keighley....

    Increase in intensity now, but much smaller flakes...good settle now on cars and grass...

    Altitude is everything. Absolutely nothing in Keighley town centre. A different scene 2 minutes drive up the road....

    The best snowfalls I’ve experienced are the ones that are totally unexpected. Not going to bother with the forecasted ones anymore!

    Got a decent covering in Keighley from a snow shower at about 6.15am....

    I think for us further inland, we’re done for any snow, unless the wind goes back to having an easterly component.....
