  1. This is so annoying. The snow band is curremtly showing that it has just arrived over us, but we haven't got anything and it has been the same all morning, with it staying just a couple of miles to the south of us. All I want is some more snow
  2. We have at least 6 inches of snow here. Its the best snowfall I have seen for years.
  3. I have just been outside and it is absolutely freezing, local weather station shows -1C and dew point of -4C. It is really blowy out there will loads of snow falling heavily. The depth of snow that I currently have is 8cm at its lowest, as I couldn't get to the deepest parts, without venturing too far out.

  6. it is chucking it down yet again here in grantham and the wind is blowing quite strong, throwing the rain against the window. at least it isnt as bad as it sound in louth and horncatsle, with the river withan being only small.
  7. it is absolutely hammering it down here. The local supermarket car park is flooded with about 3 inches of water, as i have just found out, and the smaill watercourses next to the main road heading towards the town centre are full with water lapping at the edges.
  8. could somebody tell me whether this band of showers (possibly thundery) are likely to move any further east, as currently they are about 30 miles to the west of me, around the nottingha area. Any response would be grateful, thanks.
  9. well we have got about 2cm of snow lying here in Grantham, Lincs at the minute. Does Saturday look any better for us in the east midland and if so what can we expect?
  10. does anyone know how much i should expect tomorrow in Grantham (aprrox 25 miles due east of Notiingham), as the metoffice places me between the 70% and 90% risk of disruption areas in their warnings.
  11. It seems to be looking better than it did for snowfall in my area at the moment. Could anyone give me approximate accumulations for Grantham in South Lincolnshire. Thanks.
  12. How far north would people expect this snowband on thursday to extend, as i am new to this and not sure what to expect for my part of the world in south Lincolnshire.
  13. Will it snow in Grantham, Lincolnshire on Thursday and if so can anyone tell me how much is likely to accumulate, as it has been a while since we received an event such as the one forcasted.
