    The grass is nearly covered now even though the snow is light.Temp is -1.6c and a dew point of -3c.

    A nice little top up in the last hour or so, and much better than i was expecting.

    According to wundermap it's blow freezing for most of our region and i would expect it to stay that way throughout the day,also will lots of cloud cover there will be little or no thaw whatsoever and most places will get a top up at some point.

    The only positive for here is that the temp is below freezing and it's cloudy,so the snow cover in the fields isn't going anywhere fast.

    Yep it's looking that way for us sadly.There is a chance of some snow later on sunday going by the GFS PPN charts, but it's a few days away yet and will no doubt change.I'm not really expecting much more than the odd cm here today and tomorrow.

    Yes very true and it has been an excellent week, with snow on the ground and very cold temps and it looks like 2 ice days in a row.Any snow we get will most likely come from the east, but the PPN charts ive looked at on the GFS and a few of the other models don't look that great.

    It's very rare for me to do a negative post, but after today's near miss i think tomorrow will be the same and all the action will be just to the west, leaving this area bone dry again.Thankfully i got a good snow event on monday and still got snow cover but i can't see much snow making it as far east as my location tomorrow.No point looking much further ahead as things are changing all the time.

    It was that cold here this morning that my car doors wouldn't open lol.Like Aaron said a bit earlier,if we miss the snow coming in from the west we have got a very good chance of getting some snow showers pushing in from the north sea.It's looking pretty good for us either way TBH.

    Well the GFS 6Z was a massive upgrade for our area as it shows the PPN reaching our area,so hopefully the 12z won't push the PPN further west.again.
