    Yep i think it's time to start lampost watching again lol.

    Cloudy all day with occasional light snow and a max temp of 1c. Very little thaw and easily 3 inches of snow still in the fields.

    I'd leave it until the morning mate and if things are still looking good, then tell them then that more snow is coming.

    I must admit i was expecting a much stronger breeze this morning and a slow thaw,but it's all good

    Any sign of a thaw taking place? It's ok here with no hint of a thaw and very light snow falling once again.

    No sign of a thaw at all here so far and hardly any breeze now either.Temp 0.2c and a dew point of -1.5c.

    Snowing faster now and the radar is looking much better again.

    The temp has droppped back down to 0c with light snow on and off for the last 30 mins or so.Ive just been out and there has been more snow overnight that i first thought.

    Last monday there was around 3 inches here which was very good.A lot of the snow stuck around in the fields with the temp close to freezing and with very little in the way of sunshine.yesterday there was around an inch i'd guess and it really is an excellent wintry scene this morning

    The fact that my area is around 25 mile inland will make a big difference no doubt, but it could still be touch and go in the next few days.i just want the snow to stick around for as long as possible lol.

    I just hope the temps and dewpoints stay favourable when the wind turn to an easterly.

    Cloudy for much of the day, with several hours of light snow from late afternoon through early evening, which gave around an inch.

    Been stuck in a dry slot here for ages, but overall it's been a good evening.

    Snow has stopped here, but a nice covering now.

    The temp and dew points are very slowly on the rise here, but nothing to be concerned about yet and the light snow continues.

    Dunno yet mate, but the radar looks good for the next few hours at least and i'm very happy with that.

    Much heavier snow now.This is more like it and there could be a good covering in a few hours time.

    The radar is looking much better that is for sure.Only light snow here which looks like continuing for a few hours yet, which is still good enough for me and settling easily.I would have taken that this morning no doubt about it.

    It's starting to snow a little faster now.

    The radar shows some heavier snow to the north of Lincoln, which will hopefully reach us soon.
