  1. Thunderstorm over Ashford!! Lots of rain too, WOOHOO! :D
  2. Thunderstorms now forming in the Channel, Towards Kent! Hopefully they survive
  3. These showers have just formed in the last 10mins. So one to watch for Kent
  4. Deffo a thunderstorm way off to the South East. Sky has gone very dark here, with a pre-storm look! Just need that loaded gun to fire
  5. Keep hearing rumbles from way off to the South East and here it's gone very still and ominous
  6. Keep hearing rumbles from way off to the South East and here it's gone very still and ominous
  7. Also a line of storms in Channel, might be interesting for Kent later! It's so warm and humid right now, more so than expected
  8. I don't think it has, look how active it is from the Channel Isle up through Wales! I think that's the cold front
  9. Wasn't the North East meant to have the worst? Seems more active over wales :p
  10. Here - Day before There - Yesterday Actual Look at the difference in the front, look how it's showing intense rain across the South East by the early hours of Tuesday. Then compare the actual day, with rain only arriving in the east and south east by 7PM. Also note how very much further north it was. Also note the intensity across the front, more especially the southern aspect. They didn't update any warnings up until later Tuesday :(
  11. It was wrong!! They clearly said EVERY DAY prior to the event starting in the early hours of the morning and lasting well into the afternoon for the east and south east.. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!!! Wish people on the forum would stop taking forecasts ON THE DAY as a correct forecast. I was going by every forecast prior to yesterday! Here's my post 22 hours ago! And this at 9am in the morning! ( It was sunny )
  12. That warning didn't come into force until later, it was due to start raining across the east and south east around 7am and last well into the afternoon. This was the forecast for every day prior to the event by about a week! IT didn't start chucking it down in this part until around 6 or 7 that was very much out. So I was right then, overnight
  13. One of the most Incorrect forecasts for today! ( BEEB/MET ) Got it so so wrong, and didn't once fix their mistakes!
  14. Here's a post I made in June " SE, London & EA - Weather Discussion Neilsouth replied to Paul's topic in SE, London and East Anglia Community Group's SE, London and East Anglia Weather Discussion Yep!! 15. Not in the South East it wasn't! I distinctly remember many months of cloudy/cold winds off the North Sea! But Climate Change agenda n all that
